The Winter Racing Carnival is Townsville's biggest social event. With over 20,000 people walking through the gates in 2006 to party, drink, eat and feel the thrill of live horse racing, this is Townsville's favourite fortnight.

The carnival is comprised of five key events including Lamont Ladies Race Day and culminating with the Jupiters Townsville Cup.
