The newest and coolest place to have a drink in Sydney's gay scene, Slide has a retro light up dance floor, smiling patrons and I have to say I like the barmen in their black kilts!

With a cool layout this place combines a slick stylish feel with elegant original building features. Throw a lot of gay men (and a few others) into the mix and it's a place that is easy to have a good time in. The upper mezzanine floor may be where the smokers go, but it's good for a view over the entire place. Get there early enough and enjoy a snack or dinner before hitting the tiles. My only warning, there are a fair few stairs to negotiate to the toilets!
