..What the Newtown Hotel did for its loyal followers while it was open!

It ain't glamorous but it's fun! The Newtown Hotel is exactly where and what it says. On the main drag in Newtown, Sydney, it puts on drag par excellence!

I've seen the drag queens nearly fall off the tiny stage, and some of the male dancers look barely out of school, but the whole place stops to watch! Drinks are a good price and the staff are friendly, even if you can't tell if it's a butch dyke putting a head on your beer or a girlie boy pouring your vodka and cranberry!

Playing pool is a tight squeeze and getting the porn out of the skill tester machine is something I'm yet to try but the Newtown Hotel is a handy and fun place to start your night. It doesn't stay open late, so you'll have to relax fast and enjoy your night from the start.
