Colombian Hotel

Sydney's most popular gay bar is right in the heart of the action on Oxford St. and never fails to provide something to look at, whether it's hot guys, some bizarre colourful characters or the people in the street outside.

The ground floor level is more relaxed and is a great place to meet up with friends in the evening for a drink after work but I'm always dragging people upstairs to sit in the comfy lounges when it's quiet and to watch the pretty people dance when it's busier later. Being pretty friendly looking, The Columbian does get the odd drunken hen's/bachelorette night out to mix it with "the gays" but they leave the attitude at the door.

For all the boys and girls starting a big night, this is a great place for a warm up before heading out, if you're like me and don't do all-nighters anymore, it's a pretty cool, attitude-free place to have a good night with friends. Drinks aren't the cheapest around, but they aren't the priciest and the staff are pretty chilled.
