Through the club and school system the sport caters for male and female rowers from elite to novice level including disabled athletes. Membership of the NSW Association is around 2500 to 3000 members.

Part of the NSW Rowing Association annual point score. 50 race rowing regatta with competitors from Sydney, Hunter Region, Port Macquarie and Taree.

Host Club on Saturday is Port Macquarie Rowing Club - from 9.00am - 3.00pm.
Host Club on Sunday is Manning River Rowing Club - from 8.00am - 2.00pm.
