The god Pluto entices the bored housewife Eurydice to Hades with promises of fame, fortune and fun. The hapless Orpheus is forced by public opinion (a cross between Pauline Hanson and Hyacinth Bucket) to journey first to Mount Olympus and then to Hades to retrieve his wife. But all is not well on Mount Olympus and the god's revolt and make haste to Hades to see what all the fuss is about.

This 1850's social satire takes on a new life and energy in a contemporary Australian context. Irreverent, sophisticated, hilarious and beautifully sung by a mainly local cast - this is one evening not to miss.
