Beyond Black

Five times a year Melbourne boys and girls get their leather or fetish gear out and party at Beyond. Now that it's four years old, the patrons know not to wear their designer jeans - they won't be let in.

It's a friendly vibe but with a definite masculine edge and a limit of 500 people at a party. You can really appreciate the spectacular lighting, maybe reflected off that hot guy over there's leather chaps, or perhaps his arse! Try and catch the shows, which don't interrupt the party, but add to it, or all you'll do is hear the stories about which boundaries they pushed!

Beyond is a leather and fetish party (and as such there is a dress code)/ This dress code is strictly enforced. People not appropriately dressed will be refused entry to Beyond events. Leather and/or fetish wear is preferred. Rubber and uniform is permitted.

We have a strictly enforced No Blue Denim policy.

People wearing blue denim jeans will not be admitted. The only exceptions to this rule are blue jeans under chaps or as part of a recognisable skin gear. Black jeans are acceptable provided they are not 'fashion or designer' jeans. Stonewash and/or faded jeans or chinos are not acceptable. Running shoes/sneakers are not permitted.
