Built around a 33 year old character farmhouse this secluded retreat is nestled on 265 acres of tranquil land. Each suite enjoys a panoramic view over a gentle undulating valley in Western Australia's premium wine district, the Margaret River Wine Region.

We are only a few minutes drive from Yallingup and Dunsborough which are also located in the South West region.

Warm colours of local timbers, tumbled marble mosaics and sensuous bed linen grace the interiors. Natural bush surroundings around the suites provide both a peaceful and picturesque hideaway.

In the main house there is a games room with a billiard table, compact disc, video and book library. Guests can use the main lounge to relax and also take advantage of the kitchen to prepare their own food and make use of the barbecue facilities. Great gourmet breakfast, spa treatments avaiable, day beds nestled in the gardens, garden spa and sauna.

There is a distinct eastern flavour throughout the retreat, from the simplistic chic, the large teak beds through to the courtyard water gardens, the entry being marked by a pair of ancient monastery doors. A beautiful day bed is nestled amongst the bush for those wishing to read or sip a glass of Empire Estate wine.

Spectacular beaches, restaurants and the Margaret River vineyards are all close by. Picnic hampers are also available for a quiet lunch at the dam or around the property. For special occasions arrangements can be made for a chef to come in and prepare dinner.
