The Old Umbrella Shop is a heritage-listed store in central Launceston, northern Tasmania. Launceston, a two-and-a-half hour drive from Hobart (199 kilometres) is the largest city in the state's north, and the third oldest city in Australia.

The Old Umbrella Shop was built in the 1860s, entirely from Tasmanian blackwood. The store still stocks umbrellas in addition to National Trust and Tasmanian products and souvenirs. There is also a fascinating display of old and antique umbrellas spanning the last 100 years.

The Old Umbrella Shop is the last genuine period shop in Tasmania, and every proprietor, including three generations of a family that operated the shop from 1900, preserved the original Victorian structure and fittings. The shop is classified by the National Trust and is also a National Trust Information Centre.
