Tower Estate is welcoming a new food and beverage operation “The Blaxlands INN”. The new ‘meeting place’ is situated next to Tower Estate Wines on Broke Rd .Recently renamed the Blaxlands INN, it is set to re-open in July. Formerly known as Blaxlands Grill the operation has received a complete overhaul including kitchen, interior design and fit out. All designed to provide a truly differentiated eating and drinking experience.

The Blaxlands INN’s brand is inspired by the early settler and pioneer Gregory Blaxland (1778 – 1853) who in 1813 found a way to cross the Blue Mountains, opening up more farming land to the early settlement of Sydney. A brave and courageous explorer Mr Blaxland embarked into the unknown on horse. He had brought vines from the Cape of Good Hope, found a species resistant to blight, took a sample of his wine to London in 1822 and won a silver medal for it.

A newly renovated Blaxlands INN has seen Tower Estates joint  CEO’s Hugh Clarke and Matt Cowley excited by the new venture “Blaxlands INN is a meeting place for locals and tourists alike, its a warm and welcoming atmosphere providing an authentic and uniquely Australian experience” Hugh  said. “We feel that the Hunter Valley was in need of a place dedicated for fun, where you can sit and listen to some local music talent whilst enjoying fresh and local produce enjoying fines wines, ales and comfort food.
