SpringOut, Canberra's queer pride festival, celebrates the diversity of local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex communities.

Canberra's ninth SpringOut will build on a long tradition of community celebration in Australia's capital city. Enjoy a fun filled, empowering and fabulous time during the SpringOut festival.

SpringOut is back in 2007

Canberra's Queer Pride Festival runs each year in November. SpringOut 2006 was a massive success with a stack of amazing events. To see what happened in 2006, check out our What's On page.

We know it's a long wait till November 2007, but we promise the 2007 festival will be even bigger and better.

A very very special thank you to all of the event organisers who delivered so much fun and joy in 2006.

This year's Pride Awards went to Leanne Linmore (Musical Director - Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire), John Guppy (AIDS Action Council, Spring Lit), Robert Henderson (Qwire, AIDS Action Council, Canberra Pride Group, Meridian Club), Kelly Mullen and the Purple Party Team (Women's Purple Party).
