If you're interested in somewhere more upbeat, loud and somewhere to drink, visit the The Cube Nightclub.

Cube is located in the heart of the Civic district, downstairs from Antigo's cafe, between the merry-go-round and London Circuit on City Walk.

Hidden in Petrie Parlour bung between a hand-bag shop and a bank (you have to look and listen very carefully to know that it is even there but once traveled down the stairs there is no way you can leave or even remember that life continues on outside the door) Time stops at Cube. You are carried away, lying on a bed (yes, there are beds, covered in leather and big enough to fit about 10 people depending on how-fun-you are) and listening to the music. Ciggie in one hand, drink in the other - or two depending on what time you get there and if it's free, gay and Happy Hour or not.

If this doesn't sound like you or your scene and you would prefer somewhere classier perhaps, do not fret - from Wednesday to Friday Cube transforms into a stylish after work chill out location for the corporate and broader community. They serve cocktails (which are fabulous too, mind you), play Jazz and Lounge Music and you can play free pool Wednesday - Friday.

Once Cube was a black hole in the ground - the same crowd, same drinks and same amazing music but now seems so much more. The place is divine and oh so New York - make sure you check out the classy mosaic, wall displays and mono art. Also, don't forget to fill out a membership form while you're there and try very hard to be as charming to the new owner Maurizio Rao and bar staff (especially the hotties at the door) so someone invites you into the VIP room. You know that glass they use in Police Interview room - we'll they've got it, so make sure you don't pucker up looking at yourself or delicately remove the jocks from your arse in front of it - you never know who might be watching.

So take a break from the straight life, learn to play the gay way and party Cube style for a night! I promise you that you will have a great time - no matter what your caper.
