DRIVING YOURSELF? Here are some directions.
From Cairns and Cairns Airport follow the signs north towards Mossman and Port Douglas. You pass the northern beaches; Machans, Holloways, Trinity, Kewarra, Palm Cove and Ellis. After around 30 minutes you pass through Wangetti and come to Rex Lookout with its views up and down the coast. From there we are 3.0 Kilometres further on the beach side of the road. There is a turning lane marked on the roadway but because we are in a national park we cannot have signage on the road so you can miss us. If you get to Thala Beach, Port Douglas, Darwin or Tokyo you have gone too far so turn around and come back!

TURTLE COVE RESORT, is located between Cairns and Port Douglas on Australia's northern tropical coastline opposite the Great Barrier Reef.
To get to Turtle Cove Resort you don't need a map and compass. One of their buses can meet you at Cairns International Airport. The 30 minute drive takes you first through cane fields and then along the Coral Sea coastline, with spectacular views of offshore islands, beaches and Cape Tribulation to the north. If you prefer, you can hire a car, or they can arrange a limousine, or, if you want to be very decadent, a helicopter which lands you on their lawn.

Cairns International Airport has links to all major Australian cities, North America, Asia, New Zealand and Europe. Cairns is also a part of the national railway network and has a major coach terminal.
