Talafarm

Tala Farmstay is a gay-friendly and dog-friendly farmstay accommodation located in Northern New South Wales, about 25km west of Murwillumbah and 5km from the historic village of Tyalgum. The property is set on 8 acres on the Mt Warning side of Pinnacle Road within the beautiful Caldera, surrounded by the Nightcap Range National Park, Border Ranges National Park and the Lamington Plateau.

Major towns and villages within an hours drive are Uki, Chillingham, Kingscliff, Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby, Byron Bay, Bangalow, Tweed Heads, and Gold Coast.  And although it seems a world away, the farm is only about 2 hours south of Brisbane.

Your hosts Pete (the good looking one) and Chris (the other good looking one) will start your day with a hearty cooked breakfast. Lunch will be provided if you decide to spend your day here. Then, after a pleasant day you can relax with a drink on the wide verandahs that catch the afternoon breezes and beautiful sunsets.

A-Men Social Group BBQs

QGuide's Jack & Scollay are good friends of Tala Farm, visiting every few months for a fantastic BBQ held for the local gay community.

Called the "A-Men" it's a social group for men aged 40 and over -- and for those who like them. (The "A" can stand for - Adult, Antique, Amusing, Available - Anything you like.) The group is casual and relaxed - no membership requirements, no formalities. BBQs are held the first Sunday of March, June, September and December, from 11am to around 4pm.

Not to worry, when the place isn't packed with 70+ local men, it returns to its normal quiet, totally serene atmosphere.
