Harvest Cafe

It's easy to see why Harvest Café won the national award for excellence as the Best Breakfast restaurant - just really lovely food, great combinations and good portions.

Suggestions for the kids are spot on - you know food/drinks that kids actually like! We had the Buttermilk pancakes (yum), Scottish kippers with pineapple salsa (very tasty) and the Big Breakfast (very satisfying with all the favourites). Great coffee too.

The café is an old timber house (plus verandahs) that has been renovated to suit. It's layout is simple non fussy with the kitchen being open and fairly centrally located. The staff were lovely - very easy going and helpful.
