Fishheads is the Freshest seafood available, served in a relaxed contemporary environment by the beach or convenient takeaway. Simply stylish dining, indoor or on our beachfront deck.

Fishheads is Located at Main Beach just 20 metres from the Pacific Ocean overlooking the mountains and our famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. The Restaurant, housed in the original Bathers Pavilion built in 1951, was refurbished most recently in 2003 and with the addition of the outdoor beachfront deck, is now one of Byron’s best dining locations.

The light open interior with cool polished concrete floors spills out onto the deck for breakfast, lunch and romantic sunset dining. The smell of the salt air and sound of the waves are reminiscent of beachside holidays and good times.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to fresh quality food, friendly knowledgeable service and a dining experience you won’t forget. Either relax in our Restaurant with a bottle of wine or grab some takeaway and amble over to the beach.

You can even have takeaway with the children at the pool where there is an onsite lifeguard at all times. We also cater for children in the restaurant, the choice is yours.
