Set in Brisbane's Premier recreational, cultural and leisure district, the South Bank Lifestyle Markets are already one of South Bank's most popular attractions and trade three days per week, 52 weeks per year. On 22 February 2007, the Markets will be re-vamped and launched in a new direction with a focus on quality products, innovation and atmosphere.

Brisbane's weekend markets begin on Friday evenings at South Bank, with their popular art and craft markets. They are dominated by locally made and crafted offerings, from traditional artwork to the curious and creative. All budgets are catered for, with stalls selling delicious morsels to eat and unique items that would appeal to even the most discerning the shopper. Several sketch artists regularly work at the markets, to do portraits for those willing to spend 10 to 15 minutes. The carnival feel of South Bank pervades the markets.
