You’re invited to experience our biggest festival yet.  We’ve put together an irresistible program of award winning features, shorts and documentaries from some of the world’s most acclaimed filmmakers.  Plus, we’ve uncovered our own local talent.  This year’s short film competition received a record number of entries and we want you to help select the winner, so don’t miss the screening of finalists on our Opening Gala Night.

Looking for a party?  The Opening Gala Night also features a very special guest all the way from New York.  DJ Sammy Jo is not only the Scissor Sister’s official touring DJ, he knows how to spin the perfect blend of house, electro and dark disco.

Entertaining and thought-provoking, the 9th Annual Brisbane Queer Film Festival celebrates the best of queer film from across the globe.  With such an eclectic range of films, there’s something for everyone – so don’t miss it!
